# Process design collaboration and maintenance

**Building blocks**

Work-Relay’s building block approach allows processes to be maintained independently of one another, even when they are [sub-processes](/processes/working-with-processes/start-and-plan-the-process.md#triggered-by-another-flow).

This makes is easier for different people to take [responsibility](/processes/building-a-process/responsibilities-swimlanes.md) for the processes that directly affect them, without having to be concerned about any other process.

This assumes that the prerequisites for e.g. Process A to start Process B are fulfilled before Process B begins.

**Chatter Feed**

Every process has a unique [Chatter feed](/functional/chatter-feeds/overview.md) that is accessible in [Process Builder](/processes/building-a-process/process-builder-overview.md). This keeps the notes of collaboration in one place, and remains available throughout the life of the process. It is an easy way to track updates and decisions.
