# Integrated solution

## A single design tool for everyone to use

One of the key design considerations for the Work-Relay Process Design tool was to ensure that it could be used by any business user with very little investment of time.

As a result, anyone can build sophisticated workflow applications - without any specific knowledge or training using the same process design tool.

## A single solution to cover the full cycle of process management

In Work-Relay, all the process data is shared amongst all the tools, and it is easy to go from one tool to another. For example, a user can go from executing a process back to the design of a process with a single click while retaining context.

## Smart steps

The idea behind Smart Steps is to increase the “smarts” of the person responsible for completing the step.

* It includes knowledge to assist the user in completing the task, including instructions, checklists, wizards, analytics, expert contacts.
* The Kanban card has access everything related to a step in one place, including Chatter, files, Gantt, Process, calendar, time, files, reminders, escalations, issues, data, skills, etc.
* Users can easily update step information on-the-fly to keep the knowledge constantly up-to-date.

Smart Steps may have the following elements. Which elements are available to the process participant at runtime can be set when designing the process.
