# "Predict сompletion date" button on automatic steps

User can use Predict Completion Date feature, which is available for all system steps in the process.

Open [Process Instance Menu](/functional/process-progress-component/progress-component-overview.md#process-instance-menu) (1) and select "Predict Completion Date" (2) item. Information message (3) will be shown:

Predicted completion date will be calculated if Work-Relay Schedulers (5) is turned on for Work-Relay jobs (at the [Schedulers Settings tab](/administration/settings/work-relay-settings.md#scheduler-settings-1) (4)).

If automatic step has no start date config setup, predicted completion date will be calculated based on the closest scheduled automatic steps batch. Otherwise it will use start date config date.

In case step has Processing Frequency, it will be used in Predicted Completion Date calculation as well.
