# Basic settings

User can set and edit some basic data on a process creation wizard or process settings.

In the process builder, click "Open Process Settings" menu item in the "Actions" menu to open "Edit Process Settings" window.

On "Basic Settings" tab user can edit:

* Version name (useful if you have more than one version of current process).
* Description (some assistive text available to view and use as standard Salesforce object field).
* List of process admins (users permitted to modify, start, proceed this process, etc.).
* [Business Hours](/administration/work-relay-data/business-hours.md) (to apply them to current Process instead of changing Business hours in the system). This will allow to change business hours without affecting other processes. If this field is not set, default (set in the system) business hours will be used.

Other fields are read-only:

* Version ID
* Process ID

These fields are useful in some cases, e.g., calling API methods.

* Turn the "Enable Steps Statistics" toggler on to enable gathering statistical information on the current Process. This information is described in the [proper article](/processes/working-with-processes/process-details-page/totals.md).

Click "Save" button to apply changes or "Cancel" to discard them.

Starting release 6.0, users can select [Business Hours](/administration/work-relay-data/business-hours.md) for the current process instead of changing system business hours. This allows business hours to change without affecting other processes. If this field is not set, the system default is used.

Click "Save" button to apply changes or "Cancel" to discard them.

Starting release 7.0, users can select the "Enable Steps Statistics" (10) checkbox to collect statistics for the current process. This information is described in the [proper article](/processes/working-with-processes/process-details-page/totals.md).
