# List view

List View allows user to create or update process using list approach instead of dragging necessary elements to the canvas and drawing connectors. User can use it for situations for moving MS projects into Work-Relay environment.

To switch to List View click on icon (1):

List View (2) is on. Right sidebar becomes wider. Clicking step index (3) will open [step settings](/processes/process-steps/process-step-settings.md) (4):

To go back to List View click on arrow (5):

To add step to the process above or below the selected step (6) use "Insert above" and "Insert below" buttons (7):

New step will be added to the process as well as corresponding [connectors](/processes/connectors/connectors-overview.md):

To add multiple steps click "insert" several times:

User can update and build new connectors via "Predecessors" settings. Choose step in the list and click "Predecessors" field (8):

Update step to have two predecessors (9) and click "Save" (10):

Connectors will be updated on the canvas:

User can create Decision step from the list using question mark in the step name (12).

Populate new step name with the question mark last and hit "Enter" key. Decision step should be added to the process:

Other step types should be selected manually in step properties.
