# General

This tab contains a set of fields related to current active step and, optionally, to record.

By default, the following fields are shown for step:

* **Task Title** - step name
* **Process Version Name** - link to proper process details page (has sense when Progress Component is integrated into some other page)
* **Description** - contains step description

Steps with "In progress" status also have the following fields:

* **Start Date** - date and time when step has been made active
* **Due Date** - date and time when step has been planned to finish. Available for instances that have planned dates (have been saved at the [Gantt](/functional/gantt-chart/introduction-to-gantt-charts/gantt-chart-overview.md) chart)
* **Status** - step status.

When step has a "**Pending**" status, these fields are shown instead:

* **Status Reason** - contains a brief reason why current step is pending
* **Duration** - shows how much time step is planned to take. Available only for instances that have planned dates

Also, the step can have some **Object Record fields** shown. These fields contain information from the Object Record which current instance has been started on. These fields should be set at the "[User Interface](/processes/process-steps/process-step-settings/user-interface.md)" section of [Step Settings](/processes/process-steps/process-step-settings.md) at the [Process Builder](/processes/building-a-process/process-builder-overview.md) as **Highlighted fields**:

The order which **Highlighted fields** are shown in, corresponds to order they are set in the **Step Settings**.
