# Create Issue

Available starting Work Relay 4.1 release.

The Create Issue action allows you to add [tasks and issues](/functional/tasks-and-issues/introduction-to-tasks-and-issues.md).

To create this type of action:

## Create a new action

Go to the **Actions** tab and click **New Action**.

## Select the action settings

* Select **Type** = **Action**.
* Optionally, select **Context Object**.
* Select **Action Type** = **Create Issue**.
* Optionally, specify **conditions** to trigger the action. If omitted, the action will always be executed.

## Configure the task or issue

Set the **configuration**, **Layout**, and **Operations** of the newly added **task/Issue**.

These are the same sets of settings used when [creating a task or issue manually from Task Manager dashboard](/functional/tasks-and-issues/create-task-or-issue-from-task-manager-dashboard.md#new-task-or-issue). Both float and non-float tasks/issues can be created in this way.

**Float Task/Issue** is related to some specific record.\
**Non-float Task/Issue** is specific to some particular flow instance.

## Save the action

Click **Save** to save the action.

**The "Create Issue" action allows to create multiple Tasks/Issues.**

Click **Apply & New** to store the new **Task/Issue** configuration and show the form for one more. Click **Apply** to store this another **Task/Issue** configuration and do not add more. If you do not want to add more tasks/issues, including the one currently being configured, click **Cancel**.
