# Introduction to actions and action groups

Work-Relay Actions provide user an ability to build the library of functional quick actions and use it in any place in the application.

Actions can be triggered from the Work-Relay form, visualforce page, Lightning page or component, Salesforce process or Salesforce Einstein bots. Read [the proper article](/processes/process-actions/process-actions-overview.md) to know more about working with actions on the process.

For cases when single Action is not enough, Work-Relay offers Action Groups that allow user to run multiple Actions triggered by a single event enabling users to avoid writing apex classes and triggers.
