# Add an approval step

## Add an approval step

## Connect the approval step

Add the connectors in the sequence specified.

* The #1 connector connects the process step to the approve step.
* The #2 connector is added to the approve step first, and represents the "Approved" path.
* The #3 connector is added next, and represents the "Reject" path.

## Delete the original path

This is done so that the path goes through the approval step rather than to the End.

## Save and activate

## Add a new flow tracker record

## The first step goes to John Smith

## John Smith proceeds the flow

## Login as the approver (in this example, Mary Jane).

## The second step goes to user responsible for the approval.
