# Work-Relay settings

## Version 8.7

Starting from version 8.7 Settings page have been redesigned and **Components settings** were added there:

* Form Panel
* Process Statistic
* Progress Dashboard
* Task Manager
* Workflow Line
* Workflows

### System Information

The System Information tab displays:

* Package version details, for all installed Work-Relay packages
* Salesforce Organization Name and ID
* User details, including the Work-Relay Permission Sets and Licenses applied to the logged-in user
* The current date and time
* Links to Work-Relay documentation and support

### General Settings

The General Settings tab allows the user to define:

* **Date Format** -The desired Date format that will be used within the Work-Relay interface (if not provided, the default Salesforce format for the user's locale will be used).
* **DateTime Format** -The desired DateTime format that will be used within the Work-Relay interface (if not provided, the default Salesforce format for the user's locale will be used).
* **Business Hours** -The Business Hours record that will be used when calculating Process date values (if not provided, values will be calculated using a 24/7 schedule).
* **Super Admins** - a table of Users, Profiles, and Roles who have administrator access to all processes and forms is to be provided. Before that release it is a list of comma-separated IDs of Users, Profiles and Roles, who will have administrator access to all processes and forms (the maximum number of IDs is 10).

To add a Super Admin:

* Click the **"+"** button.
* Select the Type ("Role" in example below), search for and select the desired item.
* Click "**Apply**" button.

The newly-added Super Admins will be displayed in the table. Click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

### Object Settings

In Salesforce, Objects store the field definitions and records that make up your data. As your organization data may contain many objects, you will likely only use a subset of those within Work-Relay. For this reason, you'll want to [indicate which objects in your org are available to Work-Relay](/administration/settings/other-settings/object-settings.md) on the Object Settings tab.

Click "+" button and select objects to add in "Add Object" popup appeared, than click "Add" button in the popup bottom to add selected objects. Click "close" button to close the popup:

Click "**Save**" button to save changes.

Toggle on "Create Object Trigger Automatically", if necessary, otherwise you will have to do this manually.

### Notification Settings

The Notification Settings tab provides control over the settings for the Notifications available within Work-Relay. Please see the [dedicated article](/administration/settings/other-settings/notification-settings.md) for assistance in configuring items in this screen.

### Scheduler Settings

The Schedulers Settings tab provides the ability to turn on/off schedulers for Work-Relay jobs and force the execution of any job, if needed.

* **Automatic Tasks** - Completes System process steps.
* **Pending Tasks** -Resolves all Pending process steps.
* **Reminders/Escalations** - Sends reminder notifications and escalates steps (where escalations are configured) to the proper assignees. (Runs every 20 minutes.)
* **Time Based Processes** - Starts scheduled process instances.
* **Validation Rules** - Performs validation of automatic (System) and pending steps.

Also this tab allows to manage proper needs.

### Licenses

The Licenses tab provides the ability to manage the Work-Relay License Keys for your organization.

Please see the [dedicated article](/administration/settings/other-settings/working-with-licenses.md) for assistance in configuring items in this screen. A functionality in version 8.4 and elder (up to 7.0) is the same, only design differs.

### Utilities

The Utilities tab provides the ability to perform the following actions:

* **Admin** - Configure options for Forms.
* **Custom** **Functions** - Configure Custom Functions, for advanced customization within formulas .
* **Query** - Construct and test the execution of queries.
* **Call API** - Execute API methods and check the results.
* **Calculate formula** - Validate formulas view the results.
* **Workflow history** - Select any process version and any respective record to view its history.

## Versions prior to 8.7

### System Information

The System Information tab displays:

**Before release 8.2:**

To add another value to the list, enter a comma after the last item in the list and enter only the User ID of the desired user, then click the Save button.

### Object Settings

In Salesforce, Objects store the field definitions and records that make up your data. **Before v. 8.7** you will see an old type of objects selector:

Click "Save" button to save changes.
